Drop-in/casual sessions

  • Tuesday 6:30-8:30pm

  • Saturday 10:00am-12:00pm

These times are still happening with numbers capped at 12 people.

Glaze workshops

  • Paused until Level 1 as it will be difficult to maintain distance in the glaze area with more than two people.

Collection of bisque/glazed work

  • All the work that was on the shelves for bisque and glaze firing has been fired.

  • You can go and collect this work.

Firing work

  • Use the credit book system and using the shelves for green ware and work to be glazed as per usual and put your paper slip with your pieces.

Glazing work
Please use your common sense if you turn up at the club to glaze work and the glaze area is already in use by another member/s by following the rules around distancing,

Clay sales

  • We have Whitestone and Red Stoneware available. We will be ordering more clay asap.

Kilns

  • We are mindful that there will be pressure on the kilns to make up for missed firings. Fulfillment of diploma, class, club and member requirements is a priority. Christmas will be upon us before we know it, which adds more pressure to our resources.

  • In order to manage the kilns a bit more closely the committee will be looking after the calendar - Kiln 2 will be running with class and club firings only

  • If you have bookings on the kiln calendar we will communicate with you individually about this. Email the club or call Claire on 0212771575 to make new bookings as we are keeping a closer eye on bookings for the next few weeks. We will print out the kiln bookings calendar and put up in the usual place.

  • We may look at firing up the gas kiln to ease pressure on the electric ones. Please let us know if you are able to help with this.

  • Keep any work you have made for the wood firing aside and please let John know as he will be arranging bisque firing/s before the wood firing over Labour weekend.
